Juniors and intermediates are more than welcomed to join upper-aged classes, especially for those who want to learn more advanced techniques, workout a little harder, or simply want to do more judo!
Classes are cancelled on the following holidays: Labour Day, Thanksgiving Monday, Christmas Break, Easter Monday, and Victoria Day.
Judo is relatively inexpensive compared to many other
sports, and you don't have to invest in a judogi (judo uniform) until you
regularly attend classes. There are two seasons: the fall/winter season which runs from
September to December, and the winter/spring season which runs from January to May.
For anyone starting out (white and white-yellow belts) the
cost is $150 per season. For all others it is $190per season. Black belts get a
discount but are expected to help instruct directly or indirectly. There is a
$20 discount for additional family members.
A judogi will cost somewhere between $50 and $65 and should
last a couple of years of steady use or until you outgrow it. Check out our merchandise to get the right judogi size for you.
