Today we had another successful Road clean up and BBQ & Awards Ceremony! it turned out to be a great day! We had a great turn out to the road clean up, thanks to everyone who came out and got a little soggy after the rain! We had some delicious treats and sides contributed for our BBQ, thank you to everyone who brought something to enjoy. Congratulations goes out to everyone who received an award and achieved there next belt level, all well deserved!

Couple little reminders; This Saturday (May 25) is our Annual Road Clean up and BBQ! Road clean up will start at 10 am! followed by the BBQ back at the club!
If you have ordered Merchandise remember to pick it up at Mallon’s!

The VP Pool Party today was a hit! Thanks to everyone who came out to enjoy a swim. Thanks to Sensei Susan Baldassi and Instructor Sean Mulligan for coming out with their members to join the Thunder Bay Judo Club! Everyone enjoyed the good company.

If you have signed up (or are planning to) for the pool party on May 11, 2019 from 1-2 pm. Please note the admission standards: Anyone ages 5 & under must be within arms reach of an adult in the pool. 6-9yrs must do a swim test (half the length of the pool) If they fail, same rules as the 5 & under. If they pass they may go wherever in the pool without adults. Anyone 10 & up don't need swim test. Ratio of adults to children is: 1:4 (out of lifejackets) and 1:8 (with lifejackets).Read Full Post »

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the Lake of the Woods Tournament in Kenora this past weekend! The results are: Taurin Syrek, Wyatt Markall, Ameer Mohammed, Keri Taylor all won gold in their respective divisions. Ameer Mohammed, Dylan Danielson, Carolyn Goddard and Ethan Edison would collect silver medals while Wyatt Markall would also reach the podium with a bronze medal.
